An extension of our Youth Outreach Program (Tier 1), this project is aimed at youth aged 16-24 to engage them in meaningful creative endeavours as a means of countering systemic barriers that lead to criminalization. They will have the opportunity to learn from high-calibre professional instructors in the Media and Film, which could serve as preparations for further post-secondary educational pursuits or potential career opportunities. This program, designed and developed by AEARA will be based locally in Miramichi, NB to support growth in our region. The program will be expanded to include all youth but will maintain focus on marginalized youth.
